A lithium secondaty battery of high efficiency and high voltage is provided to ensure specific capacity by comprising a negative electrode showing high initial coulombic efficiency and long life. A lithium secondaty battery of high efficiency and high voltage comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an ion conductor. The positive electrode comprises a LiCoO2 active material formed on the surface of an active LiCoPO4 thin layer by applying Co3(PO4)2; a conductive material; and a binder. The negative electrode comprises a negative electrode active material including an SiOx-graphite composite, a conductive material, and a binder.
