A direction conversion apparatus for glass panel is provided to change the direction quickly because the latency time for redirection of the glass panel is drastically shortened. A direction conversion apparatus for glass panel comprises an inlet guide unit which guides a glass panel(5) which is installed on a main frame(3) into the center of main frame, a direction converting unit which converts the inputted glass panel the perpendicular direction to the inlet direction and ejects it, and a latency roller unit(7) which stop the glass panel temporarily near the mainframe before being inputted into the main frame. The inlet guide unit comprises a driving unit(10) which is installed in the main frame, a forward/rearward operation unit which reciprocates horizontally along the inlet direction of the glass panel, a horizontal movable unit which is integrated with forward/rearward operation unit and reciprocates horizontally, and a vertical elevating unit which lifts up and down vertically in relation to the horizontal movable unit and supports the glass panel.
