METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MN CONTAINING STEEL

A method for manufacturing Mn-containing steel is provided to improve production yield and reduce fabrication cost by controlling impurity elements of the molten steel and omitting electric furnace and heating processes. A method for manufacturing Mn-containing steel comprises a step of blowing molten steel first in an oxygen blowing type refining vessel, a step of tapping the molten steel, a step of putting deoxidizer or recarburizer in the molten steel, a step of putting solid alloy steel in the refining vessel, a step of charging the molten steel into the refining vessel again, a step of blowing the molten steel secondly in the refining vessel, and a step of deoxidizing the slag of the molten steel.
