An immobilizer system and a control method thereof are provided to substitute a mobile terminal or a credit card with a key in the case of loss and verify all kinds of information through a key unit of the mobile terminal. An immobilizer system comprises a key unit(110) including a first Bluetooth module(111) transmitting key information; an immobilizer control unit(131) including a second Bluetooth module(132) receiving key information and then executing authentication; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(133) controlling the supply of engine fuel according to authentication result of the immobilizer control unit. |
