A cooling device for an electric motor is provided to minimize pressure drop due to the flow resistance by reducing a flow path of a coolant. A cooling device for an electric motor includes a frame(41) and a frame cover(61). A coupling hole is formed in the frame. A rotor and a stator are installed in the coupling hole. A plurality of boundary ribs and a plurality of division ribs(51) are formed in the outer circumference of the frame. A plurality of boundary ribs separate a circulation space(52) of a coolant. The plurality of division ribs form a cooling path(53). The frame is pressed to the inside of the frame cover. A path inlet and a path outlet are formed in the frame cover to be connected to the circulation space.
