Steel cord for rubber reinforcement is provided to reduce quality instability property such as tip rise generation when a tire is produced by restricting rotation of the cord with excellent adhesive force. Steel cord for rubber reinforcement is comprised of a first filament(1) and a second filament(2) which are arranged to a horizontal direction with a screw shape having constant twisting cycles according to a longitudinal direction, and a wrapping wire(3) covering the first and the second filaments. A twisting direction of the first and the second filaments is an opposite direction. The first and the second filaments include one or more flat surface.
