A color electric paper display device and a driving method thereof are provided to install a CLC color filter substrate, thereby realizing an image having improved reflection brightness. The second substrate(110) comprises an RGB(Red, Green, Blue) CLC(Colesteric Liquid Crystal) color filter(115) and a common electrode(117). The RGB CLC color filter corresponds to a pixel electrode(105) formed on a unit pixel area of the first substrate(100). An EPD film(120) is installed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A plurality of microcapsules(122) forming an electrophoretic device is sealed together with a binder(121) to form an EP film. |
