METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CAST SLAB

摘要

A method for manufacturing a cast slab is provided to minimize the restriction in casting speed and temperature of tundish and molten steel by performing electromagnetic stirring on the specific position of a cast slab to increase the equiaxed dendrite rate. A method for manufacturing a cast slab(710) comprises a step of preparing molten steel, a step of performing continuous casting by injecting the molten steel in a mold(300), a step of agitating the liquid layer inside a solidified cell first by a first electromagnetic stirrer(510) within the lower 2~5m of the solidified shell meniscus generated in the continuous casting, and a step of agitating the liquefied layer inside the solidified cell secondly by a second electromagnetic stirrer(520) within the lower 5~10m of the solidification cell meniscus.
