METHOD FOR REDUCING INTER-CELL INTERFERENCE

A method for reducing interference between cells is provided to perform precoding by sharing precoding matrix information received from a terminal in a closed-loop mode when a data signal for one terminal is transmitted in a plurality of base stations in the multi-cell environment. A channel signal, which is received from more than one neighboring base station interfering a signal received from a serving station, is measured. An interference value is computed based on the measured channel signal and is transmitted to a serving base station. The interference value is used for fixing priority for selecting a precoding matrix index in each base station. Priority information is transferred to more than one neighboring base station from the serving base station.
