A fluidized bed reactor for carbon nanotube production is provided to prevent metallic catalyst particles from adhering to the sidewall of a reactor and at the same time preventing them from reacting to the sidewall of reactor. A fluidized bed reactor for carbon nanotube production comprises a reaction furnace(112) and a heater(130) for heating the reaction furnace. The reaction furnace consists of: a reaction space(RS) where metallic catalysts react to source gas in order to generate carbon nanotubes; and a distributing plate(126) for distributing the source gas into the reaction space. The heater includes an upper heater(132) for heating the reaction space, which is above the distributing plate. The reaction furnace additionally contains a preheating space(PHS) for preheating the source gas. |
