APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING WEIGHT OF VEHICLE

A device for measuring load of a vehicle and a method for the same are provided to measure the exact load regardless of slope of a surface. A device for measuring load of a vehicle comprises: a leaf spring tilt sensor(210) installed at a leaf spring(300) of the vehicles; a reference tilt sensor(220) installed at a frame of the vehicles; and a load output unit calculating the load applied in the vehicles using the leaf spring slope. The leaf spring slope is transmitted from the leaf spring tilt sensor. The reference tilt sensor measures the slope of the installed location and transmits the reference gradient. The load output unit calculates the load slope using reference gradient and leaf spring slope and outputs the total load using the load slope.
