POSITION RECOGNITION AND USER IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM USING SIGNAL STRENGTH MAP IN HOME HEALTHCARE

A position recognition and user identification system for home healthcare using a signal strength map is provided to track the location of an old resident through a wireless sensor network. A bio-signal detection unit(10) detects the bio-signal of a user. If a user sensor unit(100) approaches within the range of a predetermined area, the bio-signal detection unit recognizes the identification of the user sensor unit. The bio-signal detection unit transmits the bio-signal to a monitoring unit(400) through a sync unit(300). The monitoring unit receives the ID of the user sensor unit, the ID of a router unit(200), and an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) between the router unit and user sensor unit from the sync unit. By computing the received IDs and RSSI after data parsing, the monitoring unit determines the location of the user.
