A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve a hot spot generated in an outline area of a light guide plate, thereby improving quality of screen appearance of the liquid crystal display device. An LCD device comprises a liquid crystal panel, a light guide plate(147) and a light emitting device(146). The light guide plate is arranged in a lower side of the liquid crystal panel. In the light guide plate, light dispersing patterns forming a group are formed at a predetermined interval. The light emitting device is installed in a side wall of the light guide plate. The light emitting device is arranged in an area corresponding to a location between the light dispersing patterns.
