An in plane switching mode liquid crystal display device having an optical compensation film is provided to improve color shift due to a viewing angle, thereby improving image quality. The first optical compensation film(120) is formed by a negative C plate similar film. nx, ny and nz respectively mean refractive indexes of an x direction, a y direction and a z direction. d means thickness of a film. The second optical compensation film is formed by a positive bi-axial film. The negative C plate similar film is located in the positive bi-axial film and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel(110) so that the optical compensation film is manufactured by a roll to roll mode together with other films. |
