An anion generator is provided, which makes the electrode needle maintained in the clean state by automatically removing the foreign material adhered to the surface of the electrode needle. An anion generator having automatic cleaning function comprises: a main body; a negative electrode which is positioned in the inner part of the main body and emits the electrons; a cleaner fixing unit(100) which is installed within the main body in order to come and go in the longitudinal direction of the negative electrode and has the hole in which the negative electrode passes in the round trip process; a cleaner(106) which is adhered to the cleaner fixing unit in order to cover the hole; and a drive member for reciprocating the cleaner fixing unit. |
