摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recover waste heat generated by a charge mechanism during the charge of the charge mechanism of an electric vehicle by an external power source. <P>SOLUTION: A battery 130a generating heat during charge by the external power source is cooled by cooling air 400 taken in from the inside of a cabin or outside air. Warm air 410 warmed by waste heat from the battery 130a is supplied to a heat exchanger 208a for an evaporation process in a heat pump mechanism (heat pump type water heater) 200 via a conduit 106 by the operation of a suction fan 210. The warm air 410 passes through the heat exchanger 208a, and thereby, a heat quantity kept by the warm air 410 is recovered as a heat source in the evaporation process of a heat cycle. Consequently, waste heat generated during external charging is simultaneously used for heating water in the heat pump mechanism, and energy use efficiency can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
