<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-optical measuring device by which the oxyhemoglobin information of the brain tissue can be accurately measured when performing an oxygen administration from a rest state. <P>SOLUTION: The bio-optical measuring device is composed of: a bio-optical measuring device main body; and a switching part to feed oxygen or air selectively to a mask worn on a subject. Thereby, the oxygen administration can be performed instantaneously while keeping the rest state without being recognized by the subject and the hemoglobin information of the brain tissue in this state can be measured. By controlling air and oxygen flow rates not higher than 3-15 L/min, heavy blow-off of air or oxygen is prevented from stimulating the subject and reacting the brain thereto, and oxygen can be sufficiently administrated in a pulse state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
