摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device that achieves high glass-mounting accuracy by prohibiting the phenomenon that a cover glass is displaced due to a recovery force or a surface tension caused by viscosity or the like of an adhesive during mounting of the cover glass in the solid-state imaging device. SOLUTION: An opening 4d larger than a cover glass 3 is provided on a TAB tape 4, and the TAB tape 4 is fixed to a solid-state imaging device 2 relative to a center position of an imaging device area 5 on the solid-state imaging device 2 in consideration of a tolerance value of mounting accuracy for the cover glass 3. Displacement of the cover glass 3 is prohibited by an inner circumferential portion of the opening 4d on the TAB tape 4 in adhesive fixing of the cover glass 3, thereby assuring the glass-mounting accuracy.
