PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice processing device and a voice processing method by which respective voice data can be processed in the case that a voice stream in which a plurality of independent voice data are recorded is outputted from a reproducing device. SOLUTION: An AV amplifier 3 has a voice input means for inputting the voice stream outputted from the reproducing device, a voice decoding means for decoding the voice stream inputted by the voice input means, a voice data detecting means for detecting all voice data of a plurality of kinds when voice data of a plurality of kinds are included in the voice stream decided by the voice decoding means, a selection control means for selecting one of the voice data out of a plurality of kinds detected by the voice data detecting means, and a reproduction control means for performing control so that a voice is reproduced using selection voice data selected according to the control of the selection control means out of the voice data of the plurality of kinds.
