摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in awareness of location without using complicated equipment in an autonomous mobile capable of recognizing its location by detecting an infra-red ray containing an intrinsic ID signal, an autonomous mobile control system for controlling such an autonomous mobile and a location recognition method of controlling such an autonomous mobile. SOLUTION: The autonomous mobile including a mobile body and a detection part for detecting the infra-red ray radiated from an infra-red ray irradiation part radiating the infra-red ray containing the intrinsic ID signal is capable of moving while recognizing its location based on the information on the infra-red light detected in the detection part, wherein the relative location of the mobile body to the infra-red light radiation part can be accurately obtained when the radiated infra-red light is detected, by including the information specifying the incident direction of the infra-red ray in the information on the infra-red ray detected in the detection part.
