PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the solidification of granulated blast furnace slag capable of preventing the solidification for a long period of time by improving the effect for preventing the solidification, specifically by preventing an anti-solidifying agent from being decomposed by microbes. SOLUTION: In the method for preventing the solidification by adding an anti-solidifying agent to granulated blast furnace slag, after the sterilization treatment by adding at least one selected from hypochlorites, chlorinated isocyanuric acid or its salts and chlorine dioxide or by irradiating ultraviolet rays to water for diluting an anti-solidifying agent or a solution in which an anti-solidifying agent is diluted, the treated aqueous solution is added to granulated blast furnace slag.
