PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact driving system with high productivity in an engine-electric hybrid vehicle having motor-generators. SOLUTION: In a driving system comprising an engine, a plurality of motor-generators and a plurality of coaxial differential mechanisms, rotating output shafts of the plurality of motor-generators are disposed parallel to and opposite to a rotating output shaft of the engine. The coaxial differential mechanisms are arranged between the engine and the motors. The axially projected distance Lf1 between an end on the rotating output shaft side of the first motor-generator with the maximum dimension in the direction of the rotating output shaft out of the plurality of motor-generators and an end on the rotary shaft side of the engine is equal to or less than the axially projected distances Lfi (i=2, 3, ...) between an end on the rotating output shaft side of other motor-generators except the first motor-generator and an end on the rotary shaft side of the engine.
