A device for preventing the loosing piston of a hydraulic cylinder is provided to prevent a piston from being broken away from of a piston rod by screwing up a set screw on a fastening hole of a lock nut. A device for preventing the loosing piston of a hydraulic cylinder comprises: a joint groove(10) formed at the outer circumference edge of one side of a piston rod in order to be located at one side of the piston; a lock nut(11) connected at one end part of the piston rod to the opposite site with the piston, in which a fastening hole passes through to the inner circumference direction from the outer circumference center; a set screw(12) screwed up at the fastening hole of the lock nut in order for the lower part to be inserted into fastening hole.
