A method for inputting a character or data of an electronic device by using a portable phone is provided to enable a user to easily the character or data to the electronic device. Character or data to be transmitted is selected through a keypad and a menu key of a portable phone(S1). A wired or wireless transmission scheme is selected through the keypad and menu key(S2). According to the selected transmission scheme, the character or data is transmitted to an electronic device(S3). The transmitted character or data is received to the electronic device(S4). |
