MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF SESAME OIL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a refined sesame oil which is for general use and has high contents of lignans, sesamin and sesamolin.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the refined sesame oil uses a crude sesame oil prepared by compressing and/or extracting sesame seeds as the raw material and involves a step for deodorization as the subsequent step to the deacidification step. The content of lignans of the refined sesame oil obtained by the manufacturing process is closer to the content of lignans of the crude sesame oil than ordinary refined sesame oils.
