<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond and diamond-shaped jewelry further improving its brightness and brilliance of a conventional ideal cut diamond while retaining its size (diameter); and its cutting method. <P>SOLUTION: This diamond 1 and diamond-shaped jewelry is formed with a girdle 2, a crown 3 having a table 5 on the upper part of the girdle 2, and a pavilion 4 in the lower part of the girdle 2, and has a culet angle of 98.5° and a pavilion angle of 40.75°.
