<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor with improved quality, by reducing the number of wires. <P>SOLUTION: In a chip resist substrate 15, a protective resistor 21 is connected parallel with a Gap resistor 22, a power source lead 12 is connected with the chip resist substrate 15 by a first wire 23, and the chip resist substrate 15 is connected with an IC chip 16 by a second wire 28. The IC chip 16 is provided with a protective circuit 29 applying a high-frequency surge to a GND 20. Since the high-frequency surge that has passed through the Gap resistor 22 can be applied to the GND 20 through the protective circuit 29 in the IC chip 16, the wire connecting the Gap resistor 22 with the GND 20 can be eliminated.
