PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stop precision and to suppress power consumption in a pulse motor driven by 1-2 phase driving. SOLUTION: When stopped at a magnetic stable position, excitation to a coil is cut off. When stopped at a magnetic unstable position, the excitation to the coil is maintained.
