PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of guiding a user through a more preferable route by guiding a route considering the budget set by the user and a use discount. SOLUTION: When an upper limit money to use a tollway is set by the user by running an upper limit money setting program 18d, CPU11 searches a route based on the search money adding a given money to the upper limit money by running a route search program 18l; one or more segments available a use discount of the tollway is acquired for the route searched by running an acquiring program 18e; the search money subtracted by the total money of use discount money set at respective segments is determined whether no more than the upper limit money; when no more than the upper limit money, the route guide is performed by the route.
