PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collecting apparatus without risk of confusion in summer time switching. SOLUTION: A data collecting apparatus, which collects data per hour in 24 hours of one day and processing them as data for each hour in 24 hours of one day, comprises a summer time setting section 34 and an SM (sub memory) 36 provided with a summer time information storage area. When the summer time is started, data to be omitted by one piece are processed by a data processing section 32 as 24 pieces of data per day by complementing the data with data just before that and when the summer time is ended, data to appear excessively by one piece are processed as 24 pieces of data per day by integrating two pieces of data into one piece of data.
