PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive paste composition which can form an electrode having a high conductivity and adhesive property, and an excellent reliability as well. SOLUTION: The conductive paste composition contains silver powder, a thermo-hardening ingredient and solvent. The thermo-hardening ingredient contains a bisphenol A type epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 2,000-3,500 g/eq, a glycidyl epoxy resin of polyhydric alcohol type having an epoxy equivalent of 1,000 g/eq and a viscosity of 10-100 mPa s, and a hardening agent. The glycidyl epoxy resin of polyhydric alcohol type is an alkyl diol type having a specific structural formula or a polyethylene glycol system having a specific structural formula and a repeated number of the former methylene group and the latter oxy-ethylene group is 3 or 9, and a mixture ratio by weight of the bisphenol A type epoxy resin against the glycidyl epoxy resin of polyhydric alcohol system is 1 to 1 or 1 to 3.
