PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic toner achieving both of low temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property, giving an image with good image characteristics and exhibiting superior productivity, and to provide the electrophotographic toner obtained by the method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrophotographic toner includes a step [step (1)] of holding a toner composition containing a binder resin containing a crystalline polyester and an amorphous polyester, wherein the step (1) includes a step of keeping the toner composition at a temperature T (°C) expressed by formula (i): Tc-12≤T≤Tc+8 for one hour or longer.
