PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective fence system for a slope capable of keeping a sufficient height of the net and suppressing the net from overhanging even in the situation when catching the fallen earth and sand, while preventing reduction in the function for catching the sand and fallen rocks of the following step and reliably providing a feeling of security to the people living in the area below. SOLUTION: The system includes a row of supports composed of a plurality of supports 10 tiltable in the valley side and fixed onto the ground, an upper-side holding rope 12 as well as a lower side holding rope 14 for holding a net stretched over each respective support 10, a bracing rope 24 extended between each support 10 and the ground so that the support 10 performs resistance against tilting toward the valley side, a falling-object receive net 20 whose upper/lower sides are held by the upper-side/lower-side holding ropes 12, 14 and also a braking means 22 provided on the bracing rope and/or the lower-side holding rope. The upper-side holding rope 12 and the end-stay rope 11 of the stay rope 24 disposed at the both ends of the strut row are composed of a series of continuous rope. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
