An automatic teller machine is provided to prevent friction of a paper medium and a driving belt by elevating the driving belt to an upper side in a loading step of a carriage with a pressure preventing unit or a roller member. A medium transfer unit(130) transfers a paper medium to a single sheet from a medium storing unit(120). A temporary stack unit(140) heaps the paper medium on an outlet of the medium transfer unit. A carriage(150) receives the paper medium from a support stand of the temporary stack unit. A driving belt(172) transfers the carriage to a medium outlet. A pressure preventing unit(145) prevents the paper medium being pressed down with the driving belt.
