A manufacturing method of polyketone fiber having superior intensity and the polyketone fiber manufactured thereby are provided to offer usability for industrial fiber field such as tire cord, a belt, a hose, and a rope etc. A manufacturing method of polyketone fiber comprises the following steps of: manufacturing a polyketone solution by dissolving polyketone containing a ketone unit of 90 mole % or greater in a resorcinol aqueous solution; extruding the polyketone solution through a spinneret; coagulating the solution in a solidification bath(S2); gaining multi-filament; and performing a washing(S3), a drying(S5) and an ointment(S6) processes on the multi-filament. A weight ratio of a solution of the solidification bath is 90: 10 - 70 : 30. A coagulation stretching ratio of the filament is 1.1 - 2.0 times. |
