A system and a method for providing personal information through IPTV network are provided to appropriately confirm the personal information to receive displaying on a TV screen. A personal information main system(100) receives the information to notify an individual from a personal information organization server(30), and provides to IPTV terminal(20) of IP IPTV personal information service subscriber. A user authentication is performed by using a password, and the personal information is provided through an IPTV terminal. An IPTV head-end system(200) transmits the broadcasting contents supplied from each broadcast contents provider(10) to the IPTV terminal.
