<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain of Lactobacillus and such strain-containing material which are useful (with an anti-allergic function) for the prevention and improvement of allergy regarded as a folk disease now and are highly safe, and further to provide a strain of Lactobacillus and such strain-containing material which have at least one function among an anti-autoimmune disease function, anti-diabetes function and neutral fat-decreasing effect in addition to an anti-allergy function and are highly safe. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a lactic acid bacterium belonging to Lactobacillus delbrueckii subspecies lactis, Enterococcus durans KR-211 (Deposit No.NITE P-397) or its mutant, and Leuconostoc mesenteroides subspecies mesenteroides KLAB-2 (Accession No.NITE P-393) being a lactic acid bacterium or its mutant.
