<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system capable of efficiently editing an input character string, portable terminal, data processor, and input method. <P>SOLUTION: The data processor stores an input character string input in an input frame in association with the input frame which a character string is input. The data processor transmits to a portable terminal the input character string associated with the input frame.
