<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mark a vehicle body number or the like into a clear finish state by preventing environmental pollution caused by dust in the glass marking. <P>SOLUTION: The laser marker 1 for glass marking marks the identification symbol such as the vehicle body number or the like on a glass surface by applying carbon dioxide gas laser to the glass surface of a windshield glass 15, a door window glass, a rear window glass or the like of a vehicle, and a laser marker body 1 is hanged from a hand part 4d of a balancer 4 via a ball joint 5. The ball joint 5 is fitted between a supporting mechanism 6 equipped on the laser marker body 1 and the hand part 4d. An oscillation feed mechanism 8 is provided between the laser marker body 1 and the supporting mechanism 6, and the laser marker body 1 is pivotably supported by the oscillation feed mechanism 8 so as to be angularly displaced with respect to the supporting mechanism 6.
