PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnetic apparatus capable of reducing entry of heat without enlarging the superconducting magnetic apparatus, and having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The superconducting magnetic apparatus includes a refrigerant tank for storing an ultra-low temperature cooling medium which cools a superconducting coil; a heat shield which surrounds the refrigerant tank; a vacuum tank 5 which surrounds the heat shield; a refrigerator 10 for reliquefying the ultra-low temperature cooling medium through the refrigerant tank while being attached to the vacuum tank 5; and a piping having one edge communicatable with the refrigerant tank and other edge communicatable with outside of the vacuum tank 5. In the hollow cylindrical superconducting magnetic apparatus 1, a center axis passing through magnetic field is horizontally arranged. The refrigerator 10 and piping are collectively arranged at a slope C biased to one side of circumferential direction at the upper peripheral surface of the vacuum tank 5 from a central part of circumferential direction.
