PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable interesting symbol display in a variable display game of a game machine. SOLUTION: When symbols are variably displayed in symbol display parts L1-L3, the speeds of symbol variations are displayed in speed display parts C1-C3. The game machine determines differences of the speeds of the symbols to be variably displayed from numbers to be displayed in the speed display parts and can estimate the speeds of the variable symbols, so that a stop symbol can be estimated in the case variation time is discriminated, and the symbol display having nonconventional interest can be achieved.
