RUBBER COMPOSITION, VULCANIZED RUBBER, AND TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of outstandingly enhancing on-ice performance of a tire by quickly performing discharge of water on an ice/snow road surface. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is characterized in that a hydrophobic fiber comprising a resin having a contact angle with water of 110°or more and a foaming agent are formulated. By vulcanizing the rubber composition, the vulcanized rubber 1 comprising a resin having a lengthy bubble 2 surrounded by a cover film 3 in which the cover film 3 surrounding the lengthy bubble 2 constitutes the hydrophobic fiber is obtained. Further, in the hydrophobic fiber, a melting point or a softening point is preferably lower than the vulcanization highest temperature. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
