PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight which does not dazzle a pedestrian on a road shoulder nor an oncoming driver during driving in the rain, and enables a driver to surely comprehend a road surface condition in the rain by improving visibility of a range from a lane mark to the pedestrian. SOLUTION: In the vehicular headlight 1 having a rain lamp unit 4A and a lamp unit 4B for a low beam in a lamp room, the lamp unit 4B for the low beam forms a light distribution pattern Psb for the low beam, while the rain lamp unit 4A illuminates the road surface from spaces (C11 to C16, C21 to C26) between the lamp unit and the road shoulders (S1, S2) to a road shoulder direction, and a rain light distribution pattern Psc is superposedly formed further inside than the light distribution pattern Psb for the low beam.
