PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp cover with easy attachment and detachment work to and from a fluorescent lamp and for realizing firm attachment. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp cover includes a cylindrical cover body 20 covered on a glass tube 2 of a fluorescent lamp 1, and a holder 30 mounted on a base 3 of the fluorescent lamp 1 and retaining the cover body 20. The holder 30 is formed by a resin harder than synthetic rubber and natural rubber, and includes a base mounting part 31 mounted on the base 3 at one end side, and a cover body retaining part 34 retaining the cover body 20 at the other end side. The base mounting part 31 includes a tapered inner face shape with narrowing a diameter as heading to a tip side, and enables to be enlarged by being divided at its periphery by a slit 32 fitted in an axis direction, and an outer peripheral surface of the base 3 is held by the enlargement.
