PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a computer-nonstop access path changeover which does require setup of an access path-changing function to a computer by means of a method different from a method which uses a virtualization-controlling device arranged between a computer and a storage system. SOLUTION: A switch unit, which is connected to one or more computers and to one or more storage systems, is provided with an updating function which updates transmission management information (for example, a routing table). The storage systems have functions which add virtual ports to physical ports. The storage systems migrate the addition destinations of the virtual ports from the first physical port to the second physical port and transmit prescribed kinds of requests, which include the identification information on the virtual ports to be migrated, to the switch unit. The updating function of the switch unit updates the transmission management information so that the transmission destinations corresponding to the virtual ports to be migrated become the switch port connected to the second physical port.
