<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a battery module housed in a housing case. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of battery cells 19 are laminated so that a positive electrode tab 29a and a negative electrode tab 29b may be alternately superposed, and are connected in series so that the positive electrode tab 29a and the negative electrode tab 29b on one end side of each of the adjoining battery cells 19 in lamination direction may be electrically connected in order. An insulating plate 33 is interposed with a spacing between the positive electrode tab 29a and the negative electrode tab 29b on the other end side of each of the adjoining battery cells 19 in lamination direction, and with the both tabs 29a, 29b of each of battery cells 19 and the insulating plate 33 in exposed state, each battery cells 19 are supported in alignment so as not to shift by a supporting frame member to constitute a battery module M.
