BATTERY UNIT MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting structure capable of reinforcing a battery unit mounting portion of an electric vehicle.

SOLUTION: A beam member 102 for supporting a battery unit 14 is fixed to a side member 31 of a vehicle body 11. The side member 31 is provided with a nut member 155 and a reinforcing member 302. A bolt 157 is inserted into the nut member 155 from below the side member 31. The reinforcing member 302 has a first plate 311 and a second plate 312. The first plate 311 has a pair of flanges 325 and 326 bent individually at bent portions 330 and 331. Positions of the bent portions 330 and 331 are adjusted according to a distance S between side walls 36 and 37 of the side member 31. The flanges 325 and 326 are welded to the side walls 36 and 37 of the side member 31. The second plate 312 has a base 340 welded at a lower end of the nut member 155 and an upright portion 341 along the nut member 155.
