PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching device for preventing the out-of-tolerance of a teaching position which occurs due to visual teaching work, and the breakage of a component and a tool even when a dimensional tolerance between the component and the tool during mounting is strictly specified, and for eliminating the need for numerically and manually inputting a force parameter when performing assembling work while pushing the component with predetermined force. SOLUTION: The teaching device comprises an operation part using the rotating amount of a rotating body as the displacement of an operated object, a sensor 120 for detecting the rotating amount and rotating direction of the rotating body, an operation amount indicating part 151 for indicating the displacement of the operated object in accordance with a value detected by the sensor, an operation axis selecting switch 140 for selecting a moving axis to specify the displacement of the operated object in a specified direction, a teaching button 130 for indicating that a displacement position of the operated object is stored, and an actuator 110 for presenting reaction which the operated object receives, to an operator with an inner force sense.
