PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which hermetical sealing between a lid packing and a pot is improved and in which stable tight closure is secured even with excessive decompression inside a pot to be lower than the atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: A protruded part 59A as a projection is provided in a part facing a second sealing part 57B of a packing base. Between the protruded part 59A and the second sealing part 57B, there is formed a prescribed gap B1 preliminarily with a lid body 31 closed. In addition, the gap B1 is set to be larger than a gap B2 between the pot body 1 and the lid body 31 that is opened/closed with respect to the pot body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
