PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid complex having high gene-introducing activity. SOLUTION: The nucleic acid complex is a complex of a cationic polymer and a nucleic acid, and is obtained by allowing the complex wherein the amount of positive electric charge is larger than that of negative electric charge to adsorb an anionic polymer. The cationic polymer and the anionic polymer are preferably branched polymers obtained by using a compound having three or more N,N-dialkyldithiocarbamylmethyl groups in one molecule as an iniferter, and carrying out living polymerization of cationic or anionic vinylic monomers under light radiation.
